There is no minimum age to ride! However, an adult (18+) must be present on the boat at all times to steer and supervise.
While pedal boats are incredibly stable and virtually unsinkable, Mike's Watersports requires all passengers—especially children—to wear our provided, perfectly sized life jackets while on the water.

What are the requirements to rent this upgraded Pedal Boat? Pedal boats are incredibly safe and require no previous experience, but to ensure everyone has a secure time on the water, we require the following:
- Lead Renter Age: An adult (18 years or older) must be present to sign the rental agreement and supervise younger passengers.
- Safety Gear: All passengers must wear the provided life jackets. This is especially important for children using the slide and jump board in deeper water.
- Safety Briefing: Before pushing off the sand, our beach team will give you a quick boundary orientation, showing you the designated safe zones away from motorized boat traffic.
