All equipment and watersports gear is picked up directly at the Mike’s Watersports beachfront base, located on the sands of Konnos Bay.

Because Konnos Bay is situated at the base of a scenic cliff, you will need to park at the top of the bay or use the local shuttle, and walk down the main pathway to the beach. Our kiosk is highly visible on the sand. There is no need to travel to a secondary office in Ayia Napa or central Protaras; your gear, boats, and instructors are waiting for you right at the water's edge. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked time for equipment sizing and safety briefings.

We utilize premium, highly durable equipment designed for the marine environment, from impact-resistant SUP boards to Yamaha WaveRunners. However, we understand that accidents can happen.

• Normal Wear and Tear: You are not responsible for standard wear and tear (e.g., a faded life jacket or a minor scuff on a kayak from normal beaching).

• Negligence and Reckless Damage: If the equipment is damaged due to explicit negligence, failure to follow the instructor’s safety guidelines, or reckless behavior (such as intentionally crashing a Jet Ski or dragging a Seabob over sharp rocks), the renter assumes full financial responsibility for the repair or replacement costs.

Pro Tip: Take a 10-second video of your high-value equipment (like a Seabob or Wakeboard) during your safety briefing before getting into the water. This provides peace of mind for both you and our staff regarding the gear's condition at the time of handover.

Yes, absolutely. Safety is not an upcharge at Mike’s Watersports.

Coast Guard-approved buoyancy aids (life jackets) are completely free and strictly included with every single rental—whether you are booking a €20 Kayak session or a €240 VIP Wakesurf boat. We stock a massive range of sizes, from toddler vests with head-supports to XXL adult impact vests. Our dock staff will personally ensure your life jacket is securely and correctly fitted before you are permitted to leave the beach.

Gear Inclusion Summary

Yes, you can extend your rental time, provided the equipment is not booked by another customer immediately after your session.

If you are out on the water (for example, on a Pedal Boat or SUP) and decide you want another 30 minutes, simply paddle back to the Mike's Watersports dock and ask the dispatcher. If the schedule permits, we will happily extend your session. For high-demand, motorized activities like the Axis Pro Wake Boat or Seabobs, we highly recommend booking your maximum desired time in advance, as these slots sell out quickly during the peak Cyprus summer season.
